Mondays December 1 & 8 at 9:30 – This program for parents and their pre-school aged children provides a fun way to sing, listen, move, play, learn, and build early literacy and language skills.  Families can join at any time.  There is no cost.  For more information contact Linda Breuer at Love, Inc. at 763-6226 or Tricia Cox at the library.

I think Wordsworth may have startled the dinosaurs last night!  🙂 We’ll be sure to let the dinosaurs know that Wordsworth belongs here, too.  Welcome back Elf on the Shelf!  He’ll be watching to make sure everyone is on their best behavior and reporting back to the North Pole each night.  Follow his antics each day on the Waterford Library’s Facebook page.

 

Thanks go out to the wonderful ladies of Loose Ends Sewing and Stitching Club for providing their time and talents in the creation of a beautiful new tree skirt for the Christmas Tree! It’s all ready and in place for the tree lighting event on December 6 directly following the Winter Wonderland Parade.

The Waterford Public Library will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.
The library will be open on Saturday, November 29 from 9:00am – 3:00pm.

 

The book club will meet at 5:30pm on December 3 to discuss the book The Spymistress by Jennifer Chiaverini.  Copies are still available for checkout.

 

Thursday, November 20 at 6:30pm – A royal Caribbean Cruise Lines representative will be here to talk about the cruise line and more!  This program is free.

 

Storytimes will be held Wednesday and Thursday: Lap-Sit at 9:30 or Preschool Storytime at 10:30.

 

Monday, November 17 at 6:30, 6:50 & 7:10 – Take a light-hearted look at the people and businesses making up Waterford’s downtown Heritage District captured through the lens of a camera.  The video was produced by cameraman Nick Strong of Waterford-based Strong Event Productions who collaborated with Waterford Executive Director Cynthia Jensen to create the promotional video complete with an original score from Don Wiggins from Vortexx Music.  Absolutely Waterford is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to the preservation of Waterford’ unique identity and rich history and promotes the commercial revitalization of its downtown.

 

Lap-Sit storytimes will be offered Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30am.

Preschool Storytimes are available on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30am.
