Coloring Contest

YOU could be the ONE to light the Village Christmas tree at the library and ride in the parade on Saturday, December 2nd or you could win other GREAT prizes!  Every day that you check out 5 items or return a special completed coloring sheet, you may enter the contest by filling out an entry form and putting it in the gift box at the Circulation Desk.

~ Entries must be in by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22nd.

~ You must be ages 5 – 12 to enter.

~ Valid entries must have a legible name, age and phone number of the person who colored the picture or checked out materials.

Quilts: A Bed Turning

Teen Scene: Police Dog Edition

Wednesday, Oct. 18, 3:30 p.m.

Nox is a German Shepard who has been working with his Racine County Sheriff partner since April 2014. He is trained in tracking suspects and lost persons, handler protection, and locating illegal narcotics. He and his partner, Kurt Clemens, are looking  forward to demonstrating all of their skills and specifically addressing teens and tweens at this program.  Ages 12 and up.

Workforce Solutions

The extensive employment and communityresources offered at the Racine County Service Center in Burlington are now available at Waterford Public Library on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Ani LaFave, Racine County Resource Specialist, will be available to share information on FoodShare, Badger Care, and Child care benefits. You can also learn more about employment and job training resources. Drop in between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm to meet with the resource specialist.
