Read to Chester

Chester is an adorable Carin Terrier Dachshund mix who loves kids and reading with them! Individual children and/or families can sign up for one 15-minute block of time during November’s Read-to-Chester session. The sign-up sheet is in the children’s area.  Register by phone or in person.

This is a great program for children who:

  • Are developing reading skills
  • Have special needs
  • Just love to read

You may bring your own book to read or let Chester pick one for you!

Workforce Solutions Employment and Resources Assitance

The extensive employment and community resources offered at the Racine County Service Center in Burlington are now available at Waterford Public Library on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Ani LaFave, Racine County Resource Specialist, will be available to share information on FoodShare, Badger Care, and Child care benefits. You can also learn more about employment and job training resources.
Drop in between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm to meet with the resource specialist.
