This Friday, September 29, the library will close at 5:00pm because of Waterford’s Homecoming Parade at 5:30pm. The Homecoming Game is at 7:00pm. Go Wolverines!

Join us for Teen Scene Wednesdays after school from 3:00 – 4:30pm. Snacks, games, and a supervised place to hang out are provided.  Work on homework, or just relax after a long day. No registration, but a valid library card is required.

You are invited to celebrate the restoration and dedication of Waterford’s turn-of-the-century curtain from the former Main Street Strand Theater. The curtain will hang in the Waterford Library. As a part of the celebration Absolutely Waterford will honor the Waterford Public Library during this, their 50th anniversary year. Tuesday, September 26 at 6:00pm. Refreshments will be served.

The extensive employment and community resources offered at the Racine County Service Center in Burlington are now available at Waterford Public Library on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Ani LaFave, Racine County Resources Specialist will be available to share information on FoodShare, Badger Care, and Child Care Benefits. You can learn more about employment and job training resources. Drop in between 9 and 12:30 on Tuesday, September 19 to meet with the resource specialist.
