We are hiring for two library assistant positions that are shelving-focused. Each position will work 10-13 hours per week including afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Deadline to apply is until positions are filled.

**Class is FULL!** Friends of Waterford Public Library present Cooking with Class with Chef Staci Joers! This is a fundraiser benefitting the Friends of WPL on Wednesday, September 4 from 11:30am-1:30pm. The cost is $30. Registration is required in advance, in person or by phone.

The Waterford Library will be closed Saturday, August 31-Monday, September 2. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 9:00am.

Bring your paper projects and join this group for crafts and conversation! Meets Tuesday, September 3 from 9:30am-3:30pm in the Community Room.

Book Club meets in person in the Community Room on Wednesday, August 28 at 5:30pm. Please register in advance to participate. Copies of this month’s book selection are available for checkout at the circulation desk.

Enjoy yoga and meditation in the library on Mondays, August 19 & 26 at 2:00 pm. All skill levels welcome. For adults only. Separate registration is required for each class! 

There is a Friends of the Waterford Library meeting on Thursday, August 22 at 1:00 pm. New and current friends members are welcome to attend!

Black Point Estate brings you to the year 1989 on Wednesday, August 21 at 5:30 pm! It was a turning point in political history that swept the world, from the Tiananmen Square protests in Beijing, to the opening of the Berlin Wall in Germany, to the first written proposal for the World Wide Web! Registration is required.

It’s a puzzle party with our therapy pups on Thursday, August 15! Challenge yourself to complete a variety of puzzles throughout the library’s Community Room! Jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and puzzle games will be offered. Sign up with friends and bring your best thinking skills. The coolest part?
