Great Heirloom Flowers

Betty Adelman from Heritage Flower Farm will introduce us to heirloom flowers, or “plants with a past,” as she calls them. She’ll show off flowers from the dawn of history, the Europe of Elizabeth I, and make her way to America to cover those treasured by the Ho Chunk, Menominee, and
Navajo. These are plants with stories, tales of discovery, and wildlife values.  This class is free! Please register to attend.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Teens ages 12 and up are invited to join us at this volunteer opportunity. We will be sorting and putting together the summer reading program packets! Donuts will be served.  Summer volunteer information will be available at this meeting.  10 – 11 on Saturday, May 12.

Mom’s Day on Main Street

Join the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce and the Waterford Library for Mom’s Day on Main Street! There will be a DJ from 10 – 2, painting workshops, kids crafts, drawings to win prizes and more!  At the library, moms with a punch card are eligible for fine forgiveness and chocolate treats!  The library will be open 9:00 – 2:00 for this special event!

Read to Tammy

Tammy is a trained therapy dog ready to listen to your child read! This is a great program for children who are learning to read, have special needs, or just love to read.  Individual families may sign up for one 15-minute session per month.  Sign up at the children’s desk.

Creativity: The Human Advantage with George Barry
