American Barn Stories and Other Tales from the Heartlands has aired and been greatly enjoyed by hundreds of thousands viewers on PBS stations since 2006. Tom Laughlin captures and portrays old barn stories from across the Midwestern heartland. He is bringing these stories to the library on September 10 at 6:30. This program is free and appropriate for all ages. Call ahead or register online on our website to reserve your spot.

The Waterford Library is hosting The Old World Foundation’s Photo Contest Exhibit from September 8 – October 13.  Stop in to view these fantastic shots.

The library will be closed on Saturday, September 5 through Monday September 7.  The library will re-open on Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00am.

The Waterford Library Book Club will meet Wednesday, August 26 at 5:00pm to discuss The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud.

Lake Michigan Day started in 2014 to highlight the importance of the lake to our environment and economy.  Stop in and see our display on Lake Michigan materials and take some time to consider our connection to the Lake Michigan’s water.
