Bike to the Library

Get a free water bottle when you bike to the library on Saturday, September 26!  John Rider will also be at the library from 11:30 – 12:30.  He is an ambassador with the Wisconsin Bike Fed and is offering free helmet fittings, tips on bike safety, and drawings for free helmets.  Stay for the concert presented by Muzika Trio at 1pm!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 6:00 p.m. – Whether you are single, married or widowed, you need to have a good estate plan to protect your family and pass along your assets without delay and the cost of probate. Join Peggy Smithson of Senior Strategies and Attorney Jessica Sippel of Sippel Law as they discuss the most important estate planning documents, what they do and who needs them! Learn simple ways to avoid probate and pass assets to your family. Find out if Medicare will cover nursing home costs. How do new Medicaid eligibility rules affect you and your family? What are long term care options and alternatives? Learn about setting up an irrevocable funeral trust that is Medicaid exempt and can be used at any funeral home. Find out about estate trusts which will allow you to set aside assets to pass to your beneficiaries or charity and are Medicaid exempt after 5 years. This program is free.
