The last day to turn in reading records and challenge sheets for the Summer Reading Challenge is Saturday, July 19. The library will be open from 9:00 – 12:00 PM.

The world is filled with color! But what even are colors? What is the light spectrum? We will learn how light reflects and creates the colors around us, while also learning about light and colors of which we cannot see. We will discover color and light through storytelling, exploration and experimentation on Friday, July 18 at 10:00 AM. Appropriate for ages 5 and up. Registration is limited and required.

Create your favorite Minecraft character or sword in mosaic form on Thursday, July 17 at 1:30 PM! You’ll choose from a selection of templates and use foam tiles to complete your project. Registration required. Ages 9 and up.

Discover the colors of science through chemical reactions, explosions, and more on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 AM! All ages welcome. No registration required.

Create beautiful prints using nature on Thursday, July 10 at 1:30 PM! You’ll get to choose from a selection of materials (i.e. sticks, leaves, flowers) and colors to make your own prints to hang at home! Registration required. Ages 10 & up.
